Highlights

An approach that fits your needs

Consider business workflows, technical scope and operational requirements together.

01

Preparation

Inventory your systems and transaction references.

02

Security

Separate test and production access.

03

Acceptance

Verify exception scenarios as well as successful payments.

This getting-started guide helps you prepare the technical and operational scope of a payment integration. It is not an executable API specification, a live access address or a downloadable SDK package. Environment details and current technical documentation must be verified separately as part of the project.

1. Map your data and systems

Identify the sales application, provider account, order source and ERP connection. Document which system creates the amount, currency and business reference.

  • Keep test and production environments separate.
  • Do not put secret keys in the browser or source code.
  • Limit access by role and environment.

2. Define the transaction lifecycle

Treat initiated, awaiting authentication, successful, failed and uncertain outcomes as distinct states. Do not confuse browser returns with server notifications. Handle repeated delivery of the same notification safely.

3. Test before launch

Test successful payments, definitive declines, timeouts, delayed notifications, duplicate requests, cancellations and partial refunds. Verify consistency across orders, provider records and reconciliation. Do not launch without an assigned monitoring owner and rollback plan.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to help you assess the scope.

Is this page an API specification? +

No. It is a getting-started and planning guide. Current endpoints, fields and validation requirements must be confirmed within the project.

Is testing successful payments enough? +

No. Failed and uncertain outcomes, duplicate notifications and refund scenarios also need verification.

Who should I share the API key with? +

Keys belong in secure access and secrets management processes. Never include them in a contact form or support message.
