payment integration security

Security Approach

Assess payment data flows, access permissions, tokenization and log security. Review certification and compliance scope against verified documentation.

Highlights

An approach that fits your needs

Consider business workflows, technical scope and operational requirements together.

01

Data

Map the flow of card and personal data.

02

Access

Limit permissions by role and environment.

03

Evidence

Verify certifications and scope against current documents.

Payment security is more than a logo or a single technical feature. Review together which systems handle card data, where access keys are stored and who can access transaction records. This page explains an approach to security assessment; it does not replace a certificate or audit report.

Make data flows visible

Identify separately the card data collection interface, provider connection and token storage location. The design should avoid moving unnecessary personal data between systems or writing it to logs.

  • Separate test and production credentials.
  • Apply least-privilege access.
  • Define key rotation and access revocation processes.

Tokenization and PCI DSS scope

Using tokens does not automatically eliminate PCI DSS scope. Architecture, service providers and data flows must be assessed with the relevant security teams. This page makes no unverified claim that MagicPay holds PCI DSS Level 1 certification.

Incident and supplier assessment

Document responsibilities for log retention, incident notification, backups and recovery. Request current documentation, scope and responsible-entity details for a security review. Do not publish sensitive details on public pages.
