Organise Recurring Payment Journeys

MagicPay helps structure recurring payment journeys around due dates, customer relationships and outcomes. Later transactions retain a connection to the service or commercial relationship that created them.

Define the recurring process

Specify what is paid regularly, when it becomes due and which authorisation applies. Your application and payment connection need consistent references. This helps product, operations and finance understand the same process and the responsibilities attached to it.

Separate initiation from outcome

Starting an operation is not the same as receiving payment. Keep successful, pending and failed outcomes in their customer context. Define the next action after each result and how changes to the underlying service or agreement are incorporated.

Include everyday changes in testing

Follow an initial and a later due transaction in the demo. Add a failed attempt, a service change and termination. These examples define the technical scope through your actual model rather than relying on a general promise about automatic charging.
